Thermo King names Duffy western region director

Thermo King has announced that Martin Duffy has been named director of the company’s western region, responsible for leading the sales results for truck, trailer, bus, APU and heater products in that area. Duffy takes over from Mike Roberts, who has acted as interim region director.

Duffy, who joined Ingersoll Rand’s Hussmann business unit in 1989, has held positions in manufacturing and engineering. Duffy’s most recent position was vice president of global transport solutions engineering for Thermo King’s transport business.

Thermo King, a Minneapolis-based business unit of Ingersoll-Rand, manufactures transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, including trailers, truck bodies, buses, shipboard containers and railway cars. The company operates 10 manufacturing facilities and 17 parts distribution centers worldwide. Sales and service is provided by a global dealer network of 865 independently owned companies in 75 countries.
