In addition to the largest share of the Kentucky Derby’s $2 million purse, Roy Jackson — owner of the race-winning Barbaro — also will get an International RXT truck.

International Truck and Engine Corp. says the presentation of the RXT to Jackson reflects its growing commitment as a corporate partner for Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. The truck, which will be built to Jackson’s specifications, carries a value of about $135,000.

The RXT, introduced in 2005, is five-ton, 22-foot commercial pickup truck. The truck stands eight feet tall, seats five and features an eight-foot bed, an 11-ton towing capacity and commercial hydraulic brakes for stopping large loads or horse trailers. Jackson will be presented with a special model that features a fifth-wheel towing package for hauling horse trailers.
