Benson International — a manufacturer of class 6-8 specialty trailers and bodies — has named Travis McCloud as director of engineering, responsible for overseeing all engineering functions at Benson’s four facilities in Cadiz, Ky.; Mineral Wells, W.Va.; Meyersdale, Pa. and Oneida, Tenn.
McCloud has worked as a design engineer for Honda Engineering of North America, and most recently he was chief engineer for Heil Trailer International. He holds seven patents and currently has two pending.
