Waltco’s Navigator steers customers toward replacement parts

Waltco Truck Equipment Co. has announced that the Navigator, one of its customer service tools, is available online. Waltco says its new version of the Navigator has been updated to reflect the latest design changes and provide customers with a faster, more accurate turnaround for faster, easier identification of replacement parts.

“This helpful tool provides our customers with the means to quickly and correctly identify replacement parts for all of our Waltco liftgates,” says Jim Feldman, national parts and service manager for Tallmadge, Ohio-based Waltco. “This version of the Navigator was designed with the purpose of saving time and effort for liftgate maintenance professionals by reducing the risk of mistakes and misorders.”

The Navigator works when users supply basic information such as liftgate serial number, model number or manufacture date of the liftgate that needs replacement parts. With proper identification, users can be directed toward the correct parts breakdowns and technical data for the liftgate; the replacement part then can be identified by subassembly and part number.
