Frozen Food Express’ 4Q net income, revenue up

Frozen Food Express Industries announced Wednesday, June 14 that its 2005 fourth-quarter net income rose to $6.36 million, up from $1.8 million during the same period a year ago.

According to FFE’s delayed annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2005, rose to $141.9 million, up from $124.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2004.

For all of last year, the Dallas-based trucking company said net income rose to $20.4 million, up from $10.8 million in 2004. Revenue in 2005 rose to $524 million, up from $474 million the previous year.
