Carlisle Motion Control Industries has promoted George Miller to manager of fleet sales, and has appointed Jeff Pond to regional sales manager.

Miller will be responsible for all aspects of the Carlisle fleet sales program, including managing all Carlisle fleet regional sales managers. Miller joined Carlisle in 1990 as a service tech manager and has served as a regional sales manager for the last 12 years. Prior to joining Carlisle, Miller was employed by Alco Equipment for 18 years.

Pond’s responsibilities include all aspects of the Carlisle sales effort in the Northeast region. He was employed by Carlisle from 1990 to 1993 as a sales representative focused on Carlisle’s emerging OES customer base in the Northeast. Since that time, Pond has held sales and management positions at Connecticut Driveshaft, a Carlisle distributor that since has been acquired by Fleetpride.

Carlisle, based in Charlottesville, Va., manufactures and markets heavy-duty asbestos-free brake linings and Altec remanufactured brake shoes for Class 6-8 vehicles.
