The increase is effective July 1, and the starting mileage pay rate for nondedicated van drivers will increase to 30 cents per mile. In a similar move, the starting pay for general commodities van drivers will increase to 31 cents per mile.
Falcon also has revised its benefit package, now offering free healthcare premiums for company drivers. “Buy-up” coverage also is available to include dependents, with additional dental, vision and disability coverage available.
