Holland promotes Hicks to trailer suspension systems product manager

The Holland Group has announced that Bill Hicks has been promoted to the product manager position in the trailer suspension systems product management team. Hicks will direct various activities involving market analysis, customer analysis and product marketing analysis, leading the PMT to an understanding of the market environment and customer requirements, including user needs and values. He also will coordinate the identification of business requirements in support of strategic business planning, product development planning and current product marketing.

Hicks began working for Neway Anchorlok International (Neway) in 1987 and became a member of Holland in the 1999 acquisition of Neway. He has held several positions during this time, including project engineer; national service manager; senior project engineer; lead engineer; engineering group leader for Holland’s truck, bus and heavy vehicle suspension PMT; and engineering group leader for the trailer suspension systems PMT.

The Holland Group designs, manufactures and distributes components, systems and services to the transportation industry. Holland specializes in products for coupling, lifting and suspension systems for trucks, buses, tractors and trailers. These products include fifth wheels, landing gear, air and mechanical suspensions, kingpins, pintle hooks, drawbars, couplers, liftgates and roll-formed components. They are sold under the Holland brand name from Holland’s locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Japan, China, Malaysia and Thailand.
