A comprehensive training seminar providing current and prospective owner-operators with basic and advanced business skills will be among the free information sessions at this year’s Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.
The Overdrive Partners in Business seminar, sponsored by Freightliner and Castrol, will show current and prospective owner-operators ways to make more money by cutting costs and evaluating their most profitable loads.
The presenter is American Truck Business Services, the nation’s largest owner-operator financial services firm, which tracks industry averages for all aspects of contractor operations. ATBS says it has helped more than 20,000 drivers increase their revenue and keep more of what they earn through its accounting and income tax services and financial counseling.
The seminar is 2-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, in Room D-169 of the Dallas Convention Center. All truckers are invited. Each attendee receives a free copy of the 2006 Partners in Business manual.
