On April 17, raffle tickets for the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation Chopper went on sale for $20. The MDFF chopper was custom-built by Orange County Choppers and tagged with the agency’s slogan “No Boundaries,” and is valued at more than $75,000. The goal of the fund-raiser is to raise at least $300,000 for MDFF.

Prior to being raffled off, the MDFF Chopper will make stops in Indianapolis; Bloomington, Ind.; Greenfield, Ind.; West Lafayette, Ind.; Louisville, Ky.; and Metropolis Mall in Plainfield, Ind., where the final raffle will take place on Sept. 16.

Aero Industries — which manufactures accessories for dump trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers and other trucking and transportation applications — is helping sponsor the fund-raiser. When an Aero customer places an order for $3,000 or more, they will receive one entry in the MDFF Chopper raffle; and when a customer orders $10,000 or more from Aero, they will receive five entries in the raffle.

“Aero is very excited to be a part of such a wonderful fund-raising effort to lead the way in muscular dystrophy research and the MDFF,” says Dave Boyd, president of Indianapolis-based Aero Industries. “Through our customer incentive program, we hope to significantly contribute to the cause and help make a difference.”

To enter to win the MDFF Chopper, go to www.mdffchopper.com or enter with the purchase of Aero equipment of $3,000 or more; without the purchase of Aero products, the cost of purchasing one ticket is $20. “That’s a very small price to pay when considering the cause and the individuals the proceeds of the raffle will benefit,” says Joe Wolfcale, Aero’s vice president of sales and marketing.
