The G-Flex Universal Door from Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corp. is designed to provide an alternative solution for sectional loading dock doors that have continuous problems with damage. Made from an extruded vinyl material, the door has an interlocking modular design to allow for configuring different sectional door heights; optional daylight translucent slats and 12-, 18- and 30-inch-high ventilation panels also can be integrated without compromising security, according to the company.

Available in 2- or 3-inch thicknesses and door sizes up to 10 feet, 2 inches wide and 12 feet high, the door panels incorporate an integral support system designed to provide it with an optimum combination of flexibility and rigidity, while allowing panels to withstand the more common bumps and forklift impacts at the loading dock. The G-Flex’s bottom panel incorporates the company’s GX-4000 universal replacement panel that can be impacted by a forklift and doesn’t take a “set” like conventional panels.

Intermediate panels can be constructed using the same GX-4000 panels, or panels with translucent slats and 24- x 8-inch windows or ventilation panels. For installation, the G-Flex door incorporates standard off-the-shelf mounting and attachment hardware. For more information, go to www.ritehite.com.
