CTL Distribution has announced that Grady Crossland, a tank truck driver based at the company’s terminal in Freeport, Texas, is the winner of the June 2006 Bull Dog Award. The award — which is presented to acknowledge an employee’s character, integrity, performance or improvement in performance — is the most prestigious honor recognized at CTL.

Crossland, who has been with CTL since 2002, earned the award following recognition by one of CTL’s customer partners, Schenectady International. The customer praised Crossland’s professionalism and awarded him the Schenectady International Driver Merit Award, calling him an “ambassador” of the transportation industry and someone they are proud to consider an extension of their operations.

“Mr. Grady is truly an example of what all drivers should strive to be,” says Wade Harrison, vice president of national accounts for Mulberry, Fla.-based CTL, a carrier for the phosphate and fertilizer industry in Florida.
