Kenworth Truck Company now offers a 13,200-pound steerable lift axle on selected Kenworth Class 8 vocational truck models for dump, mixer, heavy haul, logging and other vocational applications.
The Watson & Chalin Tru-Track Alumilite steerable lift axle is engineered to provide greater payload capacity, reducing tare weight by nearly 150 pounds compared to the company’s previous Tru-Track models, and extended life bushings are designed to help make the lift axle more durable.
Other key features include a quick-change ride height system with ride heights of 7 to 18 inches, 13 1/2-inch axle travel, up to 11-inch axle lift, pre-loaded locking fasteners and a parallelogram design.
