Fleet One, a provider of financial service solutions to companies with fleets of vehicles and the merchants that serve them, recently named Tom Wagner vice president of strategic markets. Wagner is responsible for developing new sales initiatives, as well as enhancing existing programs and services for customers in both the public and private sectors.
“Tom’s 20-year track record in the fuel transaction business, combined with his industry knowledge and resources, make him an ideal fit with Fleet One as we continue to grow in market share, and customer products and services,” says Michael Thompson, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Nashville, Tenn.-based Fleet One.
Prior to joining Fleet One, Wagner was regional sales manager of Veytec, an integration solutions company headquartered in Orlando, Fla. Wagner also was vice president of merchant sales with Nashville-based Comdata, where he managed sales of all transaction-based services and point-of-sale solutions. He also was national accounts manager for Trendar, a systems solutions provider for truck stop, service center and convenience store merchants.
