Great West Risk Management recently awarded Transport Corp. of America with the 2005 Platinum Safety & Operational Excellence Award. The award was based on various criteria, including loss results, prompt and fair claim settlement practices, timely reporting of serious claims to Great West, innovative loss prevention programs and demonstrated operational excellence.
Transport America also recently announced its May 2006 Drivers of the Month: Company drivers are Tobin Soyck, Karl Hibbs and Daren Conaway; and contractors are Duane Booth, Steven Racinowski and Margeret DeBra. The Eagan, Minn.-based carrier recognizes drivers based on several areas of performance, including on-time performance, accident history and working percentage. Input from the drivers’ fleet managers and support center managers also is considered.
