Small-truck air cleaners
Donaldson has announced several new applications for its FKB family of high-efficiency air cleaners for small- to medium-duty diesel engine trucks. The company carries four sizes of the product: FKB04, FKB05, FKB06 and FKB08. The air cleaners are designed to provide a space- and cost-saving option for diesel-engine manufacturers in the agriculture, construction, mining and industrial-engine markets. The product line is light, efficient and easy to install and replace, Donaldson says. The products’ two-stage design features a built-in pre-cleaner to separate up to 85 percent of airborne contaminants. The FKB air cleaners are engineered to meet OEM size and performance requirements: Their plastic housing and durable construction enable installation in all types of operating environments and temperature ranges from -40
