Great West Casualty has awarded Dart Transit its Platinum Award for safety and operational excellence. Pete Merrion, vice president and underwriting manager for Great West Casualty, presented the award at Dart’s corporate office in Eagan, Minn., on July 17.
Accepting the award was Dave Oren, company president; Dan Oren, vice president of Advantage Management Administration; Gary Volkman, the carrier’s vice president of safety compliance; and others.
Dart Transit is the nation’s 14th largest truckload dry-van carrier with 2,500 independent owner-operators.
