Kane is Able, a supply chain solutions company based in Scranton, Pa., recently announced that it will begin a new business expansion into the Midwest region. This announcement coincides with the appointment of Jackie Remillard to the newly created position of business development manager.
“Jackie comes to us from UPS, where she held a number of sales and marketing positions, most recently as senior account manager,” says Harry Drajpuch, Kane’s chief operating officer. “She has worked with many Fortune 500 companies, bringing extensive contacts, knowledge and experience to our efforts in new business development. We look forward to her instrumental role in Kane’s expansion into new markets and regional areas.”
Kane, with an established Northeast base, owns and operates more than five million square feet of dry refrigerated space, with both contract and public regional distribution centers. With the new business expansion, Kane says it will be working to develop existing accounts, as well as to expand its current customer base.
