CT appoints Allen VP/sales and marketing

CT Transportation recently announced that Eric Allen has been named vice president of sales and marketing. Allen’s qualifications include 16 years of sales experience.

CT, a Port Wentworth, Ga.-based provider of flatbed freight transportation, joined Comcar Industries in 1986 and now services the eastern United States from 10 terminal facilities.

Nathan Meisgeier, president of Omaha, Nebraska-based Werner Enterprises, said his carrier is committing to hire 1,400 veterans over the coming year as part of the Freedom Haulers initiative.
