RDS Logistics named Carrier of the Year by Land O Lakes

RDS Logistics, an Oklahoma City-based perishable truckload carrier, has been recognized as Carrier of the Year by the dairy foods division of Land O Lakes, a marketer of dairy-based products for consumers, food-service professionals and food manufacturers.

The award was presented during Land O Lakes’ recent annual carrier partner meeting held at the company’s headquarters in Arden Hills, Minn. Carriers were judged on on-time pickup and deliveries, availablilty of capacity, professionalism in customer service, safety and claims-free performance.

RDS Logistics — a division of Refrigerated Delivery Service, based in Tulsa, Okla. — operates 20 owner-operator units, primarily in the Midwest/Southwest region. “We as an organization are very proud to be granted this award, as there are many carriers in the Land O Lakes carrier base that would love to have received it as well,” says Tim Hopkins, RDS Logistics president.
