CTL Distribution has named Charles Henry of Florida as the winner of its October 2006 Bull Dog Award. Henry, a tank truck driver who has been with CTL since October 1995, is part of the CTL driving team at the company’s home terminal in Mulberry, Fla.

The CTL Bull Dog program was developed to recognize CTL workers who display character, integrity and professionalism. It wasn’t one specific achievement or single event that made Henry a CTL Bull Dog, but a combination of the many characteristics and talents he showcases each day, says Scott Taylor, general manager of the company’s phosphate division.

“Charles is loyal, dedicated and possesses invaluable knowledge of his profession,” Taylor says. “When a customer calls with a crazy request, the first thing everyone in the Mulberry terminal thinks is, ‘Charles can do it!’ and, inevitably, he can. As a professional, Charles is also one of the safest drivers on the road today. Charles has the respect of the CTL Safety Department and is often asked to help train his driver peers.”
