At a recent ceremony in Carlsbad, Calif., Freightliner Trucks honored several dealerships with the 2005-2006 ASPIRE Awards. The ASPIRE program — which stands for “Acknowledging Sales, Parts & Service, Image and Relationship Excellence” — recognizes Freightliner dealers that demonstrate superior sales, customer service and performance.

As part of the awards program, the 2005-2006 Freightliner Trucks Dealer of the Year award was given to River States Truck and Trailer in Eau Claire, Wis., for displaying exceptional dedication and performance in each ASPIRE awards criterion. Joe Laux, president and general sales manager of River States Truck and Trailer, accepted the award on behalf of the dealership.

The ASPIRE Awards recognize two levels of achievement. The Summit Award is for dealers who score in the Top 10, and the Alpine Award is for those in the next 10.
