Penray — a manufacturer of cooling system treatments, fuel treatments and shop chemicals — has announced it has reached the safety milestone of 1,000 days or 600,000 hours without a recordable lost-time injury at either of its manufacturing plants in Elk Grove Village, Ill., and Wheeling, Ill.
“Safety is something we take very seriously,” says Howard Laga, vice president of operations. “Going 1,000 days without a lost-time injury is a landmark in the manufacturing industry. We attribute this achievement to our internal safety precautions, extended training and excellent employee attitude about safety.”
