Great Dane Trailers has added Transportation Repairs & Services, an authorized parts and service dealer in the Chicago metro area. Great Dane says the latest addition to its network will help address the continued increase in demand and volume in the Chicago market.
“TRS will expand Great Dane’s already comprehensive parts and service network and further increase our ability to handle all our customers’ needs in the Chicago metro area,” says Dave Durand, director of aftermarket parts for Savannah, Ga.-based Great Dane Trailers. “TRS is a welcomed addition and complements Great Dane’s outstanding and respected authorized parts and service providers in Chicago.”
As part of the company’s full-service repair and maintenance facility, TRS has a total of 18 service bays and operates 41 mobile trucks from its facility off of Interstate 55 at LaGrange Road and I-294 at 75th Street/Willow Springs Road in Hodgkins, Ill. TRS employs specialists in repairs and refurbishment for all types and sizes of heavy equipment, including custom modification, semi-trailer and reefer rebuilding, overhead door conversion, graphics and decal package installation, insurance work and two 60-foot chassis frame straightening bays.
Earlier this year, Great Dane added Phoenix-based Superstition Trailers to its North American distribution network. The trailer manufacturer also expanded its existing dealer relationships with Central Valley Trailer Repair in Stockton, Calif.; Trudell Trailers of Fargo, N.D.; Zapata in Guanajuato, Mexico; and Glasvan Great Dane Sales Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
