TMW’s Wangler says 3Q results exceeded goals

At TMW Systems’ annual user group meeting in Chicago, David Wangler, president and chief executive officer of the largest provider of enterprise management software for the trucking industry, reported third-quarter results that exceeded company goals. Third-quarter GAAP revenues for the combined TMW and Maddocks Systems entities were $11.3 million, a 27 percent increase compared to the same quarter last year.

The company also announced that it added 34 new TMWSuite and TruckMate customers during the quarter. Wangler announced these results to a group of almost 900 attendees.

Since the acquisition of competitor Maddocks in September 2006, TMW Systems plans to expand “wider and taller” in the trucking software market. One way to accomplish this goal is to develop product offerings for the 7,000 fleets in the 20- to 50-truck range, Wangler says, many of which now use manual dispatch and operations systems. TMW Systems previously had focused on fleets with more than 50 trucks.
