C.H. Robinson Worldwide announced that its third-quarter earnings grew 30 percent as gross profit grew across all segments. Quarterly net income climbed to $70.4 million, compared with a profit of $54.1 million during the same quarter in 2005. Revenue rose 15 percent to $1.71 billion, from $1.49 billion last year.

Total transportation gross profit grew 23 percent to $243.9 million over last year, according to C.H. Robinson.
