NationaLease Purchasing Corp. and AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources Corp. announced the companies recently completed their previously announced merger when shareholders of both companies voted in favor of merging the two entities.

The unified AmeriQuest leasing participants operating under the NationaLease brand say they have formed the largest leasing organization in North America, with more than 700 locations, allowing NationaLease to more effectively compete with current industry leaders. In addition, NationaLease says it now has the largest reciprocal road service network in North America and a stronger, more robust National Account program serving the needs of the unified participants selling full-service leasing, contract maintenance and dedicated contract carriage throughout North America.

AmeriQuest provides a broad range of transportation-related products and services at substantial savings through its business model. Based in Cherry Hill, N.J., AmeriQuest says it combines best practices and efficient processes utilizing technology to provide value to the fleet operator by leveraging the direct purchasing power of more than 525,000 trucks and several hundred fleets.

NationaLease, founded in 1985 to serve as a buying corporation for member companies of NationaLease, leverages purchasing volume in excess of $300 million annually. Founded in 1944, the member-owned network of independent truck leasing companies represents a total fleet of 90,000 vehicles served by a reciprocal service network of more than 700 locations across North America. NationaLease will continue to operate from its Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., home office.
