Sean Coleman recently returned from Hendrickson corporate sales to Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems in the role of director of program management, the company announced Friday, March 30. Also, Rick Johnson recently assumed duties as director of information technology for Hendrickson, announced Gary Gerstenslager, Hendrickson president and chief operating officer.

Coleman’s responsibilities include leading all program management initiatives for the division. His technical background, coupled with his previous marketing and sales experience, position him for success in this critically important role, says Steve Andrews, vice president and general manager of the truck division. Coleman’s direct reports include the program managers and cost analyst for the division.

A 13-year veteran of Hendrickson, Coleman served as director of truck OEM sales for the past three years. He has held posts of increasing responsibility, including truck senior marketing manager, district sales manager, trailer account manager and truck account manager. Coleman came to Hendrickson from Carlisle Companies, where he served for four years as a sales engineer.

Johnson, who will be based at Hendrickson’s facility in Woodridge, Ill., takes responsibility for the leadership and technical direction of the company’s IT function, including all desktop applications and hardware, networking, AS400 applications, all other software and hardware, and communications technologies across the various business units.

He joined Hendrickson as eBusiness manager in 2005 after serving for four years as chief information officer of British-based Marconi PLC, where he had overall responsibility for global IT. Prior to Marconi, Johnson was employed with Motorola Inc. across various IT leadership roles, with the most recent being director of IT – Americas for the cellular subscriber sector. He has extensive global IT experience, particularly in Asia and Europe.
