Capitalizing on its recent merger with AmeriQuest, NationaLease now is offering integrated logistics to its menu of fleet management products and services available to private fleets and transportation service providers. Michael L. Oetjen, formerly vice president of national sales for AmeriQuest, will head up the business unit as vice president of integrated logistics for NationaLease.

NationaLease is the largest full-service truck leasing organization in North America with more than 700 full-service locations throughout the United States and Canada and a combined customer fleet of more than 150,000 tractors, trucks and trailers. The Cherry Hill, N.J.-based company says the integrated logistics services will complement its comprehensive transportation service offering that includes full-service leasing, customized maintenance, finance leasing, cutting-edge distribution routing and analysis technology, and asset management services, as well as used vehicle sales, logistics consulting, and business management and automation services through Corcentric e-commerce solutions.

“NationaLease is now part of a technology-driven, solutions-based organization,” Oetjen says. “Our recent merger with AmeriQuest provided the opportunity for us to offer integrated logistics and related services that AmeriQuest has provided since 1999, and now from an even larger, and more effective, asset-based platform. Having the ability to draw resources from the appropriate business units allows us to address a broader range of business needs than just trucks or dedicated services. By incorporating the outstanding resources of the ownership body, as well as the various business units within our organization, we have the ability to present our clients with very creative, flexible and comprehensive transportation and distribution services solutions.”
