Freightliner Trucks recently announced that its Business Class M2 Body Builder Resource CD now is available for download online. Body builders, upfitters and dealers now can visit M2BodyBuilder.com to download pertinent chassis and electrical information they need to work on the Freightliner Business Class M2 family of trucks.

While Freightliner previously mailed the CD to those who requested it, all of the information now is available online for download, eliminating the need for a constant Internet connection. The truck maker says the website serves as a valuable tool to determine dimensions for body and chassis, as well as a resource to garner electrical information.

“By putting electrical and chassis information in the same location online, our customers don’t have to look in different places anymore to find the information they need,” says Tanya Appuhn, medium-duty product manager for Portland, Ore.-based Freightliner Trucks. “Freightliner Trucks continuously works on finding innovative ways to provide body builder information about the M2 family to those who need it. We strived to make this resource more user-friendly and adaptable to our customers’ needs.”

Chassis and electrical information for the M2 106, 106V, 112 and 112V now will be updated on an ongoing basis and will be available online. Freightliner websites, such as www.freightlinertrucks.com, are providing links to the M2BodyBuilder.com location.
