ALK Technologies — a developer of routing, mileage and mapping software — announced Tuesday, Aug. 21, that CoPilot Truck will be offered at TravelCenters of America starting in September. The product will be available to purchase in 160 stores nationwide through Barjan’s distribution channel.
Powered by PC Miler, a mileage and routing system for truckers, CoPilot Truck provides in-cab, truck-specific, spoken dock-to-dock directions. ALK says the navigation system was designed specifically for company drivers, owner-operators and leased operators.
“TravelCenters of America and Barjan are excellent channel partners to help ALK expand our truck stop retail presence,” says Dan Titus, vice president of mobility solutions for Princeton, N.J.-based ALK Technologies. “Our goal is to provide truck drivers nationwide with immediate access to our latest GPS navigation solutions.
