TMW Systems, a developer and integrator of transportation management software for the trucking industry, announced today, Nov. 29, the appointment of both Scott Vanselous to senior vice president and general manager of its Durham, N.C.-based Equipment and Fleet Maintenance Support & Development Group, formerly TMT Software; and Craig Cullinan to Eastern regional vice president of sales.

TMW says the addition of these two transportation executives will help it advance its position as a supplier for for-hire carriers, and the company now is poised for continued market expansion in 2008. Over the past year, TMW acquired both TMT Software and Integrated Decision Support Co. (IDSC) to increase its offerings and says it realized exponential growth, surpassing the 1,600 customer mark.

Vanselous joins TMW from Oracle, where he led the travel and transportation industry business unit. Prior to that, he spent three years with DHL – first as vice president of marketing and strategic alliances, and then as vice president of Americas global supply chain outsourcing. With a record for groundbreaking strategies and outstanding success in managing new products and company growth, Vanselous will build upon the strong customer base and maintenance software offerings (TMT Transman) acquired from TMT Software earlier this year, the company says.

“Scott brings more than 20 years of industry experience and holds an established track record as a strategist and innovator in transportation, supply chain management and logistics,” says David W. Wangler, president and chief executive officer of Cleveland-based TMW Systems. “Our team will benefit from his dynamic and results-oriented approach.” Vanselous succeeds Rick Rosenberg, general manager and former owner of TMT Software, a provider of fleet maintenance software. TMW acquired TMT last May.

Cullinan also brings decades of transportation software experience and will lead TMW’s sales efforts around ERP, business intelligence, optimization and fleet maintenance software in the company’s Eastern region. He joins TMW from Menlo Worldwide, a third-party logistics provider, where he served as global director of business development.

Prior to that, Cullinan was vice president of sales and marketing for Distribution Technologies (DistTech), a bulk commodities carrier; vice president of sales and marketing for transportation management software provider ShipLogix; and vice president of retail, consumer products services and dedicated services for Roadway Logistics Inc., Caliber Logistics and FedEx Supply Chain Services. He will be based in Cleveland.
