Oil Purification Systems, developer and manufacturer of the OPS-1 onboard oil refining system, recently announced a distribution agreement with Larson Companies, headquartered in Bloomington, Minn. Under the agreement, Larson Companies will provide sales, installation and customer support services in its 17 locations spanning the Upper Midwest.

“We are very excited about our relationship with Larson Companies,” says Mitch Weseley, president and chief executive officer of Shelton, Conn.-based OPS. “They are one of the largest and most respected Peterbilt distributors in the country, and this agreement provides further evidence that the OPS-1 technology is changing the way companies think about extending oil drain intervals. This partnership also offers tremendous benefits to our owner-operators and small fleet customers, who can leverage 17 new locations in seven states to buy and/or install the OPS-1 system.”

John Meuwissen, director of parts for Larson Companies, is responsible for finding new products that can benefit the expansive customer base being serviced. “OPS has been on our radar for some time now, and we were impressed by the quality of the product, professional organization and, most importantly, the value the OPS-1 technology will bring to our customers,” Meuwissen says. “With such a compelling return on investment and the ‘green return’ of reducing waste oil, we believe this product will be standard equipment in the near future.”
