During the recent meeting of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association’s Heavy Duty Business Forum, Tim Musgrave — president and chief executive officer of Pressure Systems International — was elected for a three-year term to the forum’s board of directors.

The Heavy Duty Business Forum, founded in 1977, is a member-only senior-executive business roundtable. Meeting twice annually, forum meetings focus on the strategic aspect of industry issues, business trends and market conditions, and provide networking opportunities for the top HDMA member executives in the industry.

HDBF is self-governed and is limited to the top 50 business leaders in the commercial vehicle supplier industry. Prospective new members are nominated by an active forum member, sponsored by two active members and elected by the general membership.

Pressure Systems International, based in San Antonio, joined HDMA in 2001, and Musgrave has served on the organization’s board of directors since 2004. PSI is the manufacturer of the Meritor Tire Inflation System, an automatic tire inflation system that is marketed and sold worldwide by ArvinMeritor.

HDMA was established in 1983 dedicated exclusively to heavy-duty manufacturers. HDMA membership is made up of companies participating in the classes 4-8 medium- and heavy-truck OE and aftermarket parts manufacturing industry.
