Aljex Software updates TIN application for brokers

Aljex Software — a provider of management software for freight brokers, carriers, logistics companies and other transportation providers — has announced major enhancements to its Transportation Intermediaries Network application for dispatch and transportation management. According to Aljex, TIN is a user-friendly, highly functional TMS (transportation management system) for 3PLs and brokers that is accessed over the Internet.

The TIN working screen includes a map showing truck and pickup locations. Aljex says the first upgrade enables users to clearly see operational problems and potential problems displayed, while the second co-ordinates loads on the map with shipment and customer information. The new enhancements are designed to enable users to manage the screen display of their loads for a clear understanding of workflow and, critically, what actions need to be taken next, according to the company.

Since TIN is hosted over the Internet, the new upgrades already are available to all TIN subscribers; they can be previewed at www.aljex.com under “Demo.” These TIN software upgrades have been in use by TIN users since mid-June.
