CalArk International Inc. recently opened its newest terminal in Taylor, Mich., about 18 miles southwest of Detroit. The new terminal’s main function is to handle loads in and out of Canada, ensuring they are cleared for entry and/or exit.
Presently, four shuttle drivers use the terminal as a home base, running in and out of Canada daily. The terminal provides a paved parking lot with about 40 spaces for empty and loaded trailers. There also are docks for off-loading if needed.
CalArk International Inc., based in Mabelvale, Ark., is an irregular-route full truckload carrier serving customers in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
