Cradles help protect semi-rugged Panasonic Toughbooks

Gamber-Johnson says it has released three cradles for the semi-rugged line of Panasonic Toughbooks – the CF74 Cradle, CF52 Cradle and CF52 Docking Cradle:

The CF74 Cradle secures the Panasonic Toughbook 74 computer on all sides to ensure user safety in the mobile environment. Designed for ease of use, the computer can be inserted and removed quickly from the cradle with a simple push of a button. A built-in key lock assists in deterring theft. Cable strain relief holes are provided on the cradle to prevent interrupted service caused by wire disconnection. The CF74 also is accessorized easily with the Screen Support or LED Light Assembly;

The CF52 Cradle hugs the Panasonic Toughbook 52 computer on all sides, keeping it safely within the cradle. Simple one-handed engagement and disengagement allows the computer to be inserted or removed easily from the cradle. A built-in key lock also helps to deter theft. An isolator accessory is available to minimize shock and vibration; and

The CF52 Docking Cradle secures the Toughbook 52 computer on all sides using the Panasonic Port Replicator. A push-button latch allows for easy computer placement and removal. Designed with safety in mind, the CF52 has side hold-down clips and front and rear support brackets to secure both the computer and port replicator to prevent damage to equipment. A built-in key lock assists in deterring theft of computer components. Both the CF52 Docking Cradle and the CF52 Cradle have dedicated accessories that include the Screen Support and LED Light Assembly.

Designed with user safety in mind, the CF74 Cradle, CF52 Cradle and CF52 Docking Cradle have rounded edges to help enhance personal safety. Because the CF74 and CF52 computers are semi-rugged, Gamber-Johnson recommends using a Shock/Vibration Isolator Plate to dampen vibration that could damage the computer. Heavy gauge steel construction and a black powdercoat finish on all cradles help ensure long-term durability and maximum corrosion resistance.
