CEI – a provider of technology-enhanced vehicle accident, driver safety and fleet risk management services – announced that its DriverCare Risk Manager, an online fleet safety solution, now features tutorials to help users better understand and take advantage of its features and benefits.

For more convenient access, a clickable tutorial icon appears in the header of every site page. From the tutorials page, clicking on a topic launches a narrated tour that helps walk users step-by-step through every major feature of the application; each tutorial runs for five to eight minutes.

Two tutorials were developed for the “Driver” view of the site: The first covers site navigation and what to do if the user has forgotten his or her password, while the second goes into detail about what can be found in the Driver Details and My Education pages.

The “Administrator” view of the site offers six tutorials. CEI says administrators have the option of watching all six as a complete simulation or selecting any one of the following topics:

  • Home Page Introduction and Top-Level Navigation;
  • Administrator Home Page – Main Dashboard Review;
  • Driver Detail Introduction and Page Navigation;
  • Driver Detail Page In-Depth Overview;
  • Education Summary In-Depth Overview; and
  • Assign Education Overview.
    An additional option enables administrators to view the driver tutorials.
  • CEI says DriverCare Risk Manager has helped vehicle fleets reduce their annual collision rates by 20 percent and more, saving millions of dollars a year in the visible and hidden costs of accidents. It is designed to extract key predictors of driver risk, identify at-risk drivers, automatically send notifications of critical information and automatically assign, deliver and monitor completion of driver training, all at a user’s desktop.
