Frozen Food Express Industries on Monday, March 27, announced the expansion of its regional service on the West Coast. Beginning April 6, FFE says that it will provide overnight and two-day less-than-truckload service for intrastate California, and two-day service between the Pacific Northwest and California.

The Dallas-based company says the expansion is in response to customer demand for enhanced service options for temperature-controlled LTL shipments moving between California and the Pacific Northwest on the Interstate 5 corridor. FFE says the regional expansion into major markets on the West Coast will complement its existing nationwide LTL network.

“We are pleased to be able to offer the same reliable service our customers have come to expect in this new market,” says Joe Jaska, FFE vice president of LTL operations. “Our expanded regional service, coupled with the introduction of our online real-time shipment tracking function via the customer Web portal, will keep FFE the industry leader in full-service temperature-controlled LTL.”
