Packerland Transport presents Driver Safety Awards

Packerland Transport recently honored more than 120 of its drivers at Driver Safety Awards events held at four locations across the country.

Among those honored were Robert Borchert and Vern Klicko, who each have accumulated one million safe miles; James Szmanski for achieving 20 safe years; and Floyd Nice and Gerald Hinkle for achieving 25 safe years. Each driver received awards from Packerland and the National Safety Council. In addition, Milton Schwahn was named the Packerland Transport Safe Driver of the Year for 2008.

Packerland Transport, headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., specializes in truckload and multidrop deliveries, and is licensed as a contract, common and dedicated carrier operating in the 48 contiguous states and Canada.
