Covenant Transportation Group, which operates more than 3,000 tractors and 8,000 trailers, announced that it is utilizing Pegasus TransTech’s Transflo Express truckstop scanning solution.

“At Covenant Transportation Group, we strive to provide a competitive advantage to our customers, and we believe the adoption of Transflo Express allows us to expedite billing and improve customer service,” says Richard Cribbs, senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based company. “Transflo Express provides our drivers with the fastest way to send their delivery documents.”

Transflo Express provides same-day access to delivery documents, allowing fleets and drivers to get paid faster. With Transflo Express, drivers hand their trip documents to a cashier for scanning at more than 525 truckstop locations nationwide, including all Pilot travel centers. These documents are sent electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing. Transflo Express says it has helped fleets of all sizes reduce operating costs, improve driver satisfaction, speed cashflow and grow without adding headcount.

“Transflo Express delivers unparalleled advantages to fleets and their drivers,” says Frank Adelman, senior vice president of Pegasus TransTech, based in Tampa, Fla. “We’re excited about the opportunity to serve Covenant Transportation Group’s document delivery needs, and we believe their choice to implement Transflo Express will reduce costs, streamline processes and improve driver satisfaction.”
