WebTech Wireless Inc., a provider of location-based and fleet telematics services, announced that it has confirmed a number of sales through NelTrak, the oil and gas industry partnership between NelCorp Inc., Foster Park Baskett Insurance, Noralta Technologies, Rogers Communications, and WebTech Wireless. The confirmed sales are to companies specialized in oil field support services operating in western Canada.
NelTrak’s solution includes worker panic and man-down devices and radio frequency cut-off switches when explosive conditions are detected. The oil and gas industry presents unique vehicle and workforce management challenges as mobile resources are often required to operate in very remote and hazardous conditions, WebTech says.
