The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration recently adopted a supplemental policy on assessing maximum fines as called for by Section 222 of the Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act of 1999. Jack Van Steenburg, director of FMCSA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance, will explain and discuss the new maximum fines policy.
