Xata SmallCalifornia has been a challenging environment for trucking for years, but recent developments are making it more difficult than ever to operate in the state — even if you aren’t based there. In addition to environmental efforts at Southern California ports, the State of California is on the verge of adopting an aggressive phaseout of older engines as well as mandatory truck and trailer specifications for long-haul operations.
