Polar Corp. announced that Frank Lukacs has been named president of its Polar Tank Trailer division. Lukacs replaces Randy Arlt, who served as the division president since 2003 and has accepted a new role at Polar’s corporate headquarters as vice president of business development.

“We are delighted that Frank Lukacs is joining Polar,” says Ted Fick, president and CEO of Polar Corp. and a member of Polar’s board of directors. “He is a proven leader with an impressive track record of leading manufacturing businesses to outstanding operating results.”

Lukacs, who joins Polar with more than 33 years of leadership experience in manufacturing businesses, served most recently as president and chief executive officer of Morton Metalcraft, a fabrication supplier to the off-highway, construction and agricultural industries. Prior to that, Lukacs was global senior vice president of manufacturing and quality at AGCO, an agricultural equipment manufacturer. Lukacs also has held positions at Dresser, Case/CNH Corp., Simpson Industries and General Motors.
