Navistar is providing a series of in-depth hands-on training programs designed to educate and empower its dealer organization. Throughout the month, the company is hosting a series of comprehensive sales training “boot camps” to get dealer sales representatives up to speed with the latest developments regarding International brand heavy-duty trucks and MaxxForce engines.

Over the next several weeks, representatives from International dealerships across the United States and Canada are participating in a series of comprehensive two-day training events. Along with insights into the features, benefits and service support for the International ProStar + and MaxxForce 13 and MaxxForce 15 big bore engines, these “boot camp” training sessions also include a competitive engine tear-down and a ride-and-drive component featuring both International and competitive-make heavy-duty trucks.

“We’re providing our dealer network with the tools and information they need to serve their heavy-duty customers,” says Jim Hebe, Navistar senior vice president of North American sales operations. “We know we have the most customer-focused products in the industry, and we are giving our people firsthand experience to understand not only our products and services, but all industry regulations and dynamics affecting their purchase decisions.”
