YRC Worldwide this week congratulated its truckload service provider, YRC Glen Moore, for 25 years of quality service. Since its incorporation on May 27, 1986, YRC Glen Moore has moved more than 41 billion pounds of goods across more than one billion miles of roadway during about 1.7 million trips throughout the United States.

YRC Glen Moore began operations in Glen Moore, Pa., hauling heavy equipment to job sites on flatbed equipment. Dry van equipment was added to the fleet for transporting general merchandise on contracted business. Today, YRC Glen Moore provides dry freight truckload van shipping to retailers, manufacturers and the government.

“Over the last 25 years, we added hundreds of customers, close to a thousand employees, nearly two thousands trailers and a wide range of sophisticated technologies,” says Gary Pruden, president of YRC Glen Moore. “We expanded our geographic footprint from the Northeast, and now reach from coast to coast. Through all of this, we have stayed consistent to our core principles of safety, service and a culture of integrity and respect to our customers and to each other.”
