Fifth wheel manufacturer Fontaine Fifth Wheel has promoted Robbie Laney to product manager, where he will manage all new product launches, integrating the efforts of the manufacturing, engineering and purchasing teams. Laney also will coordinate cost estimates for new products and manage the quotations of all nonstandard options, simplifying the process for customers.
“Robbie’s strong interpersonal and technical skills make him an ideal person to take on this challenging new position,” says Aaron Puckett, director of customer support. “We have a strong team in place, and Robbie’s talent will help us better serve our customers.”
Laney joined Fontaine in 2010 as a product sales engineer and has extensive experience in product development, customer support, cost analysis and engineering. He previously held engineering positions with other Alabama firms.
