Integrated Freight names Veal VP/treasurer

Integrated Freight Corp. recently announced the appointment of Matthew Veal as vice president and treasurer. “This is a very positive development for IFC,” says Paul Henley, chief executive officer of Sarasota, Fla.-based Integrated Freight. “We believe Matt’s wide range of corporate finance experience and ability to navigate the regulatory landscape will make an immediate impact on our financial reporting and provide additional bandwidth for our SEC filings, ongoing integration efforts and responsiveness to financing sources. I am excited to have him on board as we work to aggressively grow the business.”

Veal is a seasoned financial professional with more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions in public and private companies. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer and secretary of Sunovia Energy Technologies from its inception in 2004. From 2004 to 2010, he served on the board and as acting CFO (2004 to 2006) for Global Water Technologies. From 1996 until 2004, Veal was CFO of Tampa Bay Financial Inc., a Florida-based venture capital firm, and served as CFO and on the board of directors of its subsidiaries, DNAPrint Genomics. and Neogenomics. From 1990 until 1996, he served in several executive positions, including controller and CFO for Teltronics Group, a Sarasota-based telecom equipment manufacturer.
