Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America has promoted August Wajda to technical support and quality assurance manager for its heavy-duty business at its facility in Northville, Mich. This promotion expands the resources dedicated to supporting the company’s North American heavy-duty truck dealer network with onsite training at no charge to the dealer.
In his new position, Wajda’s responsibilities include traveling to dealerships to consult with service technicians on heavy-duty starters and alternators. He will demonstrate techniques for diagnosing the charge-start electrical system and make recommendations for problem solving in the future. He also will train technicians on the proper use of approved tools, diagnostic equipment and procedures for removing and installing Mitsubishi starters and alternators.
